EID MUBARAK!!!!!!!!!
Just wanted to start the entry off right. So, Eid-al-Fitr was on Thursday and we had Eid prayers in Coxe Cage, which is the Yale indoor running track. Picture coming soon! Then we went to IHOP (my personal pick) for breakfast, which is a Yale MSA tradition. The whole day was a lot of fun, and quite relaxing. Right now, I am at a friend's house in New Jersey, a trip that my sister and her have been planning for a while. We left Thursday night, right after "The O.C.", and been having a really fun weekend. Granted, I have been stressed about all my work (I have two papers due next week on top of two Arabic test I need to make up! I know, it's bad...but that's what happens when you miss two days of classes). Yesterday, we went shopping the whole day and then we went to her uncle and aunt's house for Eid dinner. I got such good deals and got to eat some much missed Indian sweets like
shamai. Or maybe that is just Bengali; I don't know. Today we went to watch
The Legend of Zorro, which despite the bad reviews it got, was thoroughly enjoyable. We are going to leave tomorrow for New Haven, and back to the drudgery of work. Thought I would update you on life...since it's been a while....and it will be a while still for the next entry.
